My name is Morgan. I have thankfully been in the care of Animal Aide now for the past 8 months. I arrived at care along with 3 others (Matilda, Millicent, and Maya). We were on rural property struggling to survive the elements and stay safe from predators. The property owners were seniors and finding it very difficult to feed us, but for the record... we never went hungry. Every morning and night, we had food put out for us and shelters to sleep in. The property owner's adult son knew that this was not a sustainable situation as his parents agreed, and he reached out to Animal Aide. We all arrived at rescue terrified, but we were together and comforted by the shelter volunteers. We all have received vaccinations and pest prevention and have been spayed. Every day, we have a warm and safe place to rest and an endless supply of healthy eats. I enjoy stretching out in front of a window when the sun is shining. I also enjoy gentle pets and someone telling me how special and loved I am. I would do best in a calm home that would allow me the time to settle in.
