Meet the ever so tiny but fierce little Miss Solar. Our rescue received a call from the location of the new battery plant. A cat and kitten were seen on the job site taking shelter under a construction dumpster. One of the workers took pity on the felines and began sharing their lunch each day prior to contacting Animal Aide. Ashley and Dave came up with a plan to rescue the duo. On the very first day, we received the call that Solar had been caught in our live trap. She arrived to the shelter and thankfully just in time. This poor wee bean had a major injury to her lower lip, that required immediate attention. 59 days later and this adorable sweetheart is now available for adoption. Solar is 17 weeks old and has been spayed, vaccinated, treated with pest prevention and her lip is now completely healed. She would do best in a home that will shower her with love, attention and keep her safe indoors for the rest of her days. Solar’s mom has found her furever home with the worker that was watching over them. If you are interested in meeting Solar, she is currently at the St. Pet Valu St Thomas. The adoption fee is $250.
